Marketing Speaker ProfileIdeas Into Action Founder and Principal Consultant, Angela Raspass, is a motivational and entertaining speaker and workshop facilitator who demystifies marketing for business owners and inspires them to put those ideas into action. Angela has worked in Marketing for over 20 years with experience including sales, training, trade promotions, sponsorships, events and franchising. In 2009 Angela and her husband purchased the Australasian franchising rights for SailTime, an equity free membership based sailing business with 50 bases throughout the world. With Graham as the CEO and Angela as the Marketing Manager, SailTime has since become one of the fastest growing marine businesses in Australia with five bases already established and several more on the drawing board. Angela also founded North Shore Business Network, The Working Women’s Network, and ran it for 3 years before choosing to focus on her rapidly growing marketing business. Small business owners in particular can relate to Angela’s successful journey from solo marketing consultant working “on a laptop in the spare room” to leading a rapidly growing team in Chatswood, a network of trusted project managers and creative services suppliers meeting the marketing needs of clients in five states. Angela is available as a speaker or marketing workshop facilitator for businesses, associations and franchises. Working to your brief, she is equally adept at involving and inspiring staff with the idea that “everyone is in marketing” to educating and motivating association members and franchisees to become active marketers through “marketing in a nutshell” presentations. "....the highlight of our symposium..." Without a doubt your workshop was the highlight of the symposium and everyone, even the less adventurous in the group, had glowing praise for the ideas, motivation and call to action you introduced us to. Your knowledge, understanding and empathy for small business wearing many hats, enabled the participants to consider the marketing mix they currently use and how they could integrate some of your ideas into their business while being mindful of their financial and time restraints. What was also impressive about your presentation was that you had really done your homework and had a thorough understanding of the nature of our unique work. As you saw within the group, we are passionate about what we do, but it was terrific that you understood and validated our enthusiasm as well as giving us a ‘reality check’ about the pitfalls of ‘passion without savvy’ of small business. "...everyone understands they can make a difference..." Thank you very much for your presentation on Thursday. The feedback from staff was overwhelmingly positive. The principal comment was that you talked to them, and not at them and treated their suggestions and participation with respect. They were expecting to be told what had already been decided and reveled in the fact that they were in fact an integral part of the process and that their comments and suggestions became part of our plan. We knew it was important to get a 100% buy in from the receptionist through to the Partners. Everyone had to understand that they can make a difference and now after the session everyone has a plan as to how they can achieve that and is committed to doing so. David Sharp |
